Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene special compound | Extruded film
It is a special compound product of UHMW-PE and an extruded film. It has characteristics such as low friction coefficient, excellent wear resistance, mechanical strength, and chemical resistance.
UHMW-PE stands for Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene. UHMW-PE is a type of polyethylene with an average molecular weight of over 500,000, characterized by a low coefficient of friction, excellent wear resistance, mechanical strength, and chemical resistance. However, many grades have high melt viscosity, making injection molding and extrusion difficult. DREYLUB is a special compound of UHMW-PE that can be used for injection molding and extrusion. With advanced compounding technology and formulation know-how, we offer customized materials that meet our customers' needs. DREYFOL is a melt-extruded film made from UHMW-PE. Typical UHMW-PE films are generally porous because the high melt viscosity of the resin requires the creation of a cylinder through compression molding, which is then machined into a film. In contrast, DREYFOL has achieved film production through melt extrusion. The film produced by melt extrusion is not porous, resulting in superior durability and mechanical properties compared to porous films.
